Networking
Block 1B - You will be working on chapter two the next 2 weeks. It should be a moderate difficulty level for you as the first part is a review from last year but the second part has new concepts and ideas you may never have thought about before. It may be the most important chapter as you will discover the OSI and TCP/IP models of networking and discuss the way communications occur across networks.
Do not forget to read the chapter and look at the resources on the Moodle page.
Block 3B - We will be loging in to the Cisco Acedemy Website and setting up your account then we will begin Chapter 1 on Networking basics. This should be a review for you from Computer Science. Chapter 1 test will be on Tuesday next week.
Modeling and Simulations
Do not forget the unit one test on Wednesday. We will be starting Unit two this week. In this unit we will be taking a look at different models and their simulations to determine the qualities of good models and simulations. These models can be found on the Moodle page for Modeling and Simulations. I think the next few weeks will be fun and enlightening.
Tech Essentials
This week we will continue looking at study skills and how you can use technology to help organize yourself and to complete assignments.
