Class Information

Networking -

This week we will continue discussing the TCP/IP application layer and introducing the basics of Network Security. Be sure to turn in assignments/labs on the Moodle page.  Chapter 3 test next week.


Modeling and Simulations -
This week you are expected to participate in the Moon Base Alpha simulation and begin downloading the AA simulation.  Go to the Moodle page to upload your review.

Tech Essentials -

This week we will be looking at MLA formatting and completing a research essay (300-500 words) on various topics.  The Moodle page is activated and most of you can now log in to view and turn in assignments. In addition there is a forum that you are welcome to post questions regarding this class.

Senior Projects -

Some of you are losing points daily by not working on your projects.  You projects should be close to completion as we are entering the 8th week of school.  Keep working on these.

Operating Systems -
Four the next couple of weeks we will be looking at Windows vulnerabilities and how to fix them so the computer will be safe against attack.  In addition we will be attempting the Cyber Security Entrance Image for the SAIC security program.

Internet Programming -
Continue working through your HTML tutorials. If you have not completed the first 9 units (review) you must have them completed by the end of class Friday.  Unit test on HTML next week.
